
This year’s Unite for Access Campaign, which is being supported by Hull City AFC and the Hull City DSA, will run for a 2-week period, from Saturday 1st March until Saturday 16th March, and it is expected that one of Hull City’s home games will be used to raise awareness and spread equality for a more inclusive matchday experience for our disabled supporters.
Year-after-year, the campaign helps to recognise why watching live sport is so important to disabled supporters and what is done to deliver access and inclusion, as we come together to mark the occasion.

To give a flavour of the campaign, here an overview of some of last year’s champions:
The Unite for Access 2024 campaign, organized by Level Playing Field, witnessed unprecedented support from various football clubs, organizations, and individuals, all committed to enhancing accessibility and inclusion for disabled sports fans.
Football Clubs' Involvement:
Hull City: The club actively participated in the campaign, promoting the initiative and emphasizing their dedication to accessible matchday experiences for all fans.
Stoke City: Demonstrating their commitment, Stoke City dedicated their fixture against Middlesbrough to the Unite for Access campaign, highlighting the importance of inclusivity in sports.
West Ham United: The club showcased its support by raising awareness about the campaign's objectives and implementing measures to improve matchday experiences for disabled supporters.
Arsenal: Arsenal marked the campaign by sharing personal stories from staff members with hidden disabilities, promoting understanding and inclusivity within the football community.
Level Playing Field's Role:
As the organizer, Level Playing Field spearheaded the campaign, collaborating with clubs, disabled supporters' associations, and governing bodies to promote good access and inclusion at sports venues. Their efforts were instrumental in making the 2024 campaign a record-breaking year.
Community and Individual Contributions:
Beyond the clubs, numerous fans, disabled supporters' associations, and individuals contributed by sharing their experiences, advocating for better facilities, and participating in events that highlighted the significance of accessibility in sports.
The collective efforts of these entities underscore a unified commitment to ensuring that live sports are accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability.
